Compensation: $190k base + equity
About the Role
As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building our platform from the ground up. You'll have significant ownership over technical decisions and architecture, working across the entire stack to deliver exceptional user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale our web and mobile applications
- Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs
- Own features end-to-end from database to UI
- Make key architectural decisions for long-term scalability
- Collaborate with design and product to ship quickly
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js and modern backend frameworks
- Deep understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Track record of shipping high-quality products
Responsibilities
- Build core product features across the full stack
- Establish engineering best practices and code standards
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Participate in technical design and architecture reviews
- Mentor other engineers as the team grows
Good to Haves
- Experience at early-stage startups (seed to Series A)
- Familiarity with React Native or mobile development
- DevOps and infrastructure experience (AWS, Docker, K8s)
- Background in AI/ML integration
- Open-source contributions
